Sketchbook II Images

It has been almost 10 years since I was challenged to do a sketch a day for 10 weeks. I have never been one to turn down a good challenge, so I began one of the greatest lessons in my artistic career. Today I am rarely without a sketchbook; I use sketchbooks for location studies, travel journals, designing paintings, color mixtures, notes, and so much more. I have filled dozens of these books over the years, and they have become like old friends. With each new book I wonder where it will lead me, and what new lessons will be learned along the way.
